About us
Food and wine family heritage
We are native English-speaking siblings, who grew up here in Catalonia. Our father is British, and our mother is Dutch. We are both married to Catalans and have an extensive knowledge of the Catalan way of life. We have travelled and lived in several countries, so we are able to identify with different cultures and people.
Our mother is an accomplished and talented chef and our father a collector and consumer of fine wines. This heritage has been passed down to us, we are happy to continue along these lines.

Dominique Heathcote
I remember when at the age of around three, one Christmas Eve whilst we were living in Caracas, Venezuela, I was given a sip of mulled wine. I remember the spicy aromas, the feeling of warmth, the way the wine caught the light of the Christmas candles. That is probably were it started, my love for the world of wine. As a family, we travelled the world and ended up in Barcelona, where we grew up, our home ever since. At the age of seventeen I went to Paris where I enrolled in the Cordon Bleu. I spent three wonderful years in the City of Light studying and working in the food business. I graduated from the Cordon Bleu, returned home, set up a catering business which I ran for a few years and then set up a cookery school where I continue to offer classes combining wine pairing with food. Several years ago, I obtained my title as Sommelier. I am passionate about the world of wine and continue to learn as much and as often as I can.
Cedric Heathcote
Head of sales in various international companies for over 25 years. Due to my travelling during this time, I developed a passion for the wines and cuisine of the many countries I visited, at the same time continuously extending my knowledge of the wines and food of the place I grew up in and love, Catalonia.
Leaving behind my sales career has led me to where I am today, a partner in D&C vineyard experiences. I am happy to say the change has been for the better!
